HEADING TO THE VOLCANOES BY 4X4 BUS

EXPLORE LA PALMA’S VOLCANOES ON AN EPIC 4X4 ADVENTURE

Volcanoes of the Island of La Palma! On this excursion, we will discover the volcano in a more adventurous way. We depart in a 4×4 bus from the Los Cancajos area at 8:40 AM, heading along the entire southeast coast to Fuencaliente.

Once in Fuencaliente, we’ll descend between the San Antonio and Teneguía volcanoes, with a short stop to admire Teneguía, before reaching the lighthouse and the salt flats, where we’ll stop for photos. We’ll visit La Glorieta Square in Las Manchas, and before crossing the lava flows, we’ll view the lava delta from the Hoyas viewpoint. Along the way, we’ll explore and drive over the flows of the new Tajogaite volcano in our 4×4 bus.

We passed by several viewpoints to see the different volcanoes in the area. After stopping for lunch and a rest, we climbed to the La Cumbrecita viewpoint, from where we could enjoy beautiful views of La Caldera National Park.

We descend and head towards Llano del Jable, an area from where you can see the new Tajogaite volcano if weather conditions allow, continuing to the Mirador del Llano de Las Ventas and returning home.
